"Doc Savage, the Man of Bronze, Repel"
(1993)
The final Doc Savage miniseries from Millennium didn't make it all the way to its finish, sorry to say.

| Pro Review: | By Peter Silvestro Nice adaptation of the Lester Dent novel has such a leisurely pace that one wonders how they were planning to wrap it all up in one issue. The art is much sharper than the other Millennium issues, with a great use of full page pictures with insets, the best page is 24 with the tropical fish linking the panels a brilliant touch. My only quibble with the art was that Doc’s face lacked any distinctiveness (and Monk looked a bit too cartoonish). Deirdre DeLay’s watercolors take on a deeper richer hue, suiting the story well and making the underwater scenes beautiful. Dave Dorman’s cover is a great throwback to the Bantam era, closely following James Bama’s cover for the story.
